The top
Oak is a magnificent and very robust wood, a table of this quality will last several generations without problems.
We select the most beautiful oak for the manufacture of our worktops. You will have the choice between straight edges or live edges. Regarding live edges, each creation will be different as we follow the natural shape of the tree’s bark.
Our carpenter works the raw wood in such a way as to have a finished piece of high quality and durable over time. Each worktop is manufactured by hand in an artisanal manner.
! Attention !
Solid wood like Oak can react to humidity present in the air, it is possible that in the first months following its installation, your worktop will bend slightly in one direction or another then return to flat, it is also possible that small cracks may appear.
These are superficial cracks which in no way alter the quality of the wood. Once the adaptation period has passed, your worktop will stabilise and will no longer move. Wood is a living material that reacts with its environment.
Oak is the king of our French forests, it is a noble wood of high quality, which is why we wanted to absolutely present you with a solid oak table.

Choice of base
To enhance your Oak table top, we offer you several steel bases. Our table legs are handcrafted in our workshop in Maine and Loire.
We adapt the size of the leg according to the top you have selected.
You will receive your table in two parts, on one side the top and on the other the base. Assembly is very simple, you just need to place the top on the leg, centre it and screw it using the hinge screws provided, you will simply need to be equipped with a screwdriver and a torx bit.
Of course, all our table legs are equipped with plastic adjustment feet, they allow you to level your table perfectly and protect your floor. You will be able to slide your table on your tiles or parquet without damaging it.

Finishes
FINITION DU PLATEAU
Un vernis haut de gamme incolore sera appliqué en 3 couches. Une fois le vernis appliquée nous finirons le ponçage avec de la paille de fer très fine pour un rendu lisse et doux.
Le vernis que nous appliquons sera totalement incolore, le but étant de conserver les couleurs naturel du bois.
Une fois la finition terminé, l’entretient de votre plateau en Chêne sera un jeu d’enfant. Pour le nettoyage il vous suffit d’utiliser une éponge humide et rien d’autre.
FINITION DU PIETEMENT
Brut avec vernis Mat : L’acier brut aura une couleur bleu nuit – gris, avec présence de rayures, d’imperfections et de trace de meulage. Signe de son authenticité. Le vernis protège votre pied de table de la corrosion qui peu apparaitre avec le temps.
Thermolaquage : Votre pied sera recouvert d’une poudre de la couleur de votre choix, puis passé au four à 200 degrés créant ainsi un revêtement légèrement texturé, uniforme et très solide. Le thermolaquage est non nocif, non polluant et durable dans le temps.
Thermolaqué dans le RAL de votre choix : Si vous choisissez cette option, vous devrez nous indiquer la couleur ou le RAL choisi au moment de valider votre commande (exemple : RAL 7016, RAL 7021, RAL 2100, RAL 2525 ect..)
Delivery
For the shipment of our tables, we work with Geodis transport.
Your table will be delivered to you on a pallet of the same dimension as the top. Before being shipped, it will be entirely covered with foam to prevent any problems during transport.
Delivery will be by appointment, the carrier will contact you to set the day of their visit.
