HEIGHT OF THE BASE:
Multiple heights available depending on the thickness and material of your table top.
The Mikado base is equipped with height-adjustable plastic pads.
STEEL PROFILE USED:
– Square tube 50x50x2mm
The Mikado base can support 180kg regardless of which version is chosen.
Top fixing
For wooden tops : You will find 4 fixing plates with 2 holes of 7mm on each plate. We supply hinge screws.
For stone tops : You can glue your top onto the foot or simply place it on rubber strips. With the weight of the top and the grip of the rubber, your top will not move.
For glass tops : The tubes will be plugged with plates without holes. You can then glue non-slip pads and place your top on them.
Protection of your floor
The mikado foot is equipped with adjustable plastic pads in height.
They protect your floor and allow you to secure the foot.
You will be able to slide your table across the floor effortlessly, and without damaging your tiles or your parquet.
Finishes
Raw: Without paint or varnish, raw steel will have a midnight blue colour with scratches and imperfections present. A sign of its authenticity.
Raw with Matt Varnish: Rendering identical to Raw steel. The varnish protects your mikado foot from corrosion that may appear over time.
Powder Coating: Your foot will be covered with a powder of your choice colour, then placed in an oven at 200 degrees creating a slightly textured, uniform and very solid coating. Powder coating is non-toxic, non-polluting and durable over time.
RAL of Your Choice: If you choose this option, you will need to tell us the colour or RAL chosen when validating your order (example: RAL 7016, RAL 7021, RAL 2100, RAL 2525 etc..
Delivery
The mikado foot is completely welded therefore non-removable, it will be carefully packaged in a large box, and once well protected the parcel will be entrusted to the Geodis carrier who will deliver your mikado foot against signature.
